About the Position:

ThePolicy and Project Manager – Youth Housingis a key member of the organization’s Housing and Economic Mobility Team, reporting directly to the Director of Housing and Economic Mobility. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to partnering organizations, delivering and presenting training sessions, creating written materials, convening and coordinating with relevant stakeholders’ work groups, implementing strategies, legislativeadvocacy, data analysis, and research related to foster and homeless youths in California.

Schedule:

This is a hybrid position;
Tuesdays and Thursdays are in-office, other days may be worked remote. Schedule may vary.

Occasionally, evening and weekend work may be required to attend events and trainings.

Salary:

Full-Time exempt position.

$79,000 – $91,000 commensurate with experience.

Benefits:

Vacation starting at 15 days and then after two years will be 20 days.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

5+ years of experience in the provision of technical assistance and training and/oradvocacy.

Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbalcommunication skills.

Master inCritical Thinkingskills.

Knowledge or experience in child welfare/foster care or other related social service fields (preferred).

Knowledge of the state legislative process and experience with legislativeadvocacy(preferred).

Ability to maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Ability to multi-task, research, and meet deadlines.

Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

Strong commitment to the mission of the organization and program.

Ability to travel – some overnight travel may be required.
