Pictona at Holly Hill is a 501(c)(3) entity, established in 2018 to serve as a leading Pickleball facility and community destination. With over 1400 members and growing, Pictona features 49 courts, a fast-casual restaurant, a vibrant schedule of tournaments and events, and a range of programs designed to promote health,wellness, andcommunity engagement. Supported primarily by membership fees, sponsor ships, and event revenues, Pictona has quickly become a cornerstone of the Pickleball community in the greater Central Florida region.

JOB SUMMARY
The MANAGING DIRECTOR will report directly to the Board of Directors. The MANAGING DIRECTOR is responsible for providingstrategic leadershipto Pictona, while working closely with the Board, Holly Hill City Manager, and key employees, to establish long-range goals, strategies, and operating policies,inclusiveof building a business and financial plan to support all recommended actions. The MANAGING DIRECTOR represents Pictona to its members as well as local, state, and national organizations involved in pickle ball.
The MANAGING DIRECTOR is the day-to-day leader of the Club tasked with building and maintaining the membership, facilities, employees, sponsor ships, and the overall financial health of the club. The individual will oversee the many activities of the Club, including tournaments, special events, educational programs, and food and beverage services. The MANAGING DIRECTOR must have a thorough understanding of the rapidly changing world of pickle ball and interact with that world to the benefit of Pictona.
DUTIES
Specifically, the MANAGING DIRECTOR will provide:
Strategic Leadership:
Lead and oversee the operations of the Club to further the mission while serving its members and many visitors.
Organizational Management:
Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to staff and volunteers. Develop, encourage, and facilitate collective learning.
Community Engagement and Advocacy:
Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, including members, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and the broader pickle ball community, fostering a culture of inclusivity andcollaboration. Support Club activities that benefit the community of Holly Hill and the greater Daytona area and act as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for Pictona.
Financial Stewardship:
Provide responsible financial management, including annual budget creation, cash-flow monitoring, and regular financial reporting to the Board. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring investment in high-impact programs and overall financial health of the organization.
Program Management:
Provide oversight and direction for programs and initiatives that promote participation,education, andcommunity engagementandwellness, including working with key employees to plan tournaments, promoting physical activity through classes in the Activity Center, and other events that benefit…
