Summary
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Kissito Healthcare. In this role, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans that enhance the recovery and rehabilitation of patients. Your contributions will be vital in promoting patient mobility and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
Educate patients and their families about exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through hands-on assistance.
Participate in discharge planning and contribute to care plans as needed.
Requirements
Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field required.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
Experience in inpatient or outpatient settings preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and families.
