Job Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care for our patients
- Collect and label blood samples from patients
- Centrifuge blood samples according to state regulations
- Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment
- Maintain quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule; recording results in the quality-control log; identifying and reporting needed changes
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Work with the team to ensure the patient gets top quality care in our office
Qualifications
- 1 year prior phlebotomy experience preferred, but not required
- Must be a team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities
