ABOUT THIS POSITION
This position works with the Philanthropic Director and President/CEO to implement strategy for individual donor relationships, fund-raising initiatives for annual campaign to meet short and long-term goals for the organization. The primary objective of this position is to develop long-term relationships built on a firm understanding of donor’s philanthropic interest, passions, and values.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement current strategy for cultivating portfolio donors, as established by the Philanthropy Director, President/CEO, and explained in the Philanthropy offices responsibilities.
Cultivate and deepen donor relationships with assigned portfolio.
Identify and engage potential new donors.
Deepen awareness of Open Door Mission’s ministry by giving tours, sharing volunteer opportunities, and telling the stories of Open Door Mission.
Manage new and existing annual events, including the Mission Possible 5K, Gala, Auction/Dinner, Golf Tournament, Celebration Carnival, and Women’s Tea.
Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Visible relationship with Christ and regularly attend a Bible-believing church.
Ability to share the Gospel as opportunities arise.
Bachelor degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
Extensive experience in fundraising and sales-marketing.
Experience in public speaking.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

DETAILS
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $37,000 – $58,000 annually
Schedule:
This is a full-time position. Generally Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Evening and weekend work will at times be required. Ability to work flexible hours necessary.

Each day, Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe, shelter beds to people experiencing homelessness, serves over 4,747 nutritious meals to feed the hungry, and provides homeless preventive resources to more than 1,000 people living in poverty to empower them to remain in their own homes.
