Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Philanthropy Officer to support the College’s fundraising and donor engagement activities. Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager and Head of Development, you will help secure philanthropic support for a range of College priorities, including research, education, global surgery and heritage.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fundraising campaigns for the College’s Global CARE initiative and other priority projects.
- Develop legacy giving initiatives and undertake prospect research.
- Prepare funding proposals and build relationships with individual donors, corporate supporters, trusts and foundations.
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Manage multiple priorities and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, donor engagement or partnership development.
- Proficient in prospect research, proposal preparation and securing support from donors, sponsors, trusts or foundations.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Organisation and time‑management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience working with databases or CRM systems.

Salary
Starting from 30,412.00 GBP per year.
