Position: Peer Support Youth Worker- Fenelon Falls Job class 3 #49-24
Location: Lindsay
This position is responsible for engaging and supporting youth through the Youth Services department serving Lindsay and Fenelon Falls. The Peer Support Youth Workers act as mentors for youth and support them in accessing resources and developing skills that can help them achieve their full potential. Peer Support Youth Workers are responsible for program development and facilitation focused on skills and well-being activities.
The Peer Support Youth Worker will assist with the supervision of participants and employees, problem-solving, and may be required to intervene in crisis situations. Youth Services are offered during youth-friendly hours; therefore, the Peer Support Youth Worker will regularly work evenings and Saturdays.
In Addition:
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
