Wolfson Children’s Hospital is currently looking to add a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to our Outpatient Pediatric Rehab Team in Lake City, FL (Columbia County). This is a full-time opportunity at Wolfson Children’s Specialty Center – Lake City location.
The Occupational Therapist will support the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Rehab team by working with patients under the age of 18 with a varied caseload. This position requires a candidate with previous experience working with children and previous neuro, ortho and outpatient patient experience.
Occupational Therapist, Pediatric Outpatient Rehab, Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and treats patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.
- Extensive patient/family education.
- Works with multidisciplinary team care.
Experience Requirements:
- Ortho Experience (Preferred)
- Neuro Experience (Preferred)
- Pediatric Rehab Experience (Preferred)
- Outpatient Experience (Preferred)
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required
- Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
