2. About the Opportunity:
The Payment Support Associate plays a vital role in maintaining the health of the loan portfolio by assisting entrepreneurs in managing repayment challenges. This position involves proactive client engagement and repayment solution support to help borrowers succeed while ensuring the organization’s financial sustainability. Reporting to the Director of Credit Risk, the role impacts portfolio quality and client repayment outcomes.
3. Responsibilities:
• Manage high volumes of client communications in compliance with FDCPA standards.
• Engage proactively with borrowers facing payment difficulties to assess causes and negotiate solutions.
• Support recovery and account management including coordination with third-party vendors and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk and Loan Servicing teams to maintain portfolio health.
• Assist with loan servicing operations including documentation, data entry, and reconciliation.
• Identify trends and inefficiencies to improve workflows and documentation.
• Partner with Technology teams to report system issues and support enhancements.
• Respond to client and staff inquiries regarding account details and repayments.
• Ensure compliance in client correspondence and maintain secure, organized client records.
• Support development and implementation of tailored repayment strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental goals aligned with financial health promotion.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
