Patient Transport Volunteer Driver Jobs in Hampshire, Illinois, USA at SCAS Charity

Position: Patient Transport Volunteer Driver (Hampshire)

Location: Hampshire

We have many opportunities for Patient Transport Drivers to join us throughout Berkshire. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy driving and ensuring patients in their community are able to access local hospitals to attend medical appointments by providing a friendly, safe, and reliable service. By joining our volunteer team, you are helping patients at an essential moment in their treatment, providing them with a reassuring arm and assisting them in a time of need.

Peter has been a Patient Transport Volunteer with us for over 10 years – but why? “I started as a volunteer because I wanted to fill in some spare time, and 10 years on I now volunteer five days a week, seeing the same patients, meeting new patients, doing short journeys, doing longer journeys for all ages and I wouldn’t change it!

Knowing I am helping my ‘neighbours’ and the NHS makes me very proud”

We are looking for volunteers who can help us at a variety of times of day for as many hours as possible – and even on weekends. All we ask is that you have a five-door car, relevant insurances, and a clean driving license.
