Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact and warmly welcome, register, and support patients throughout their visit
Manage provider schedules and coordinate appointments to ensure smooth clinic flow
Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility (including Sliding Fee Discount Scale)
Collect co-pays and fees in compliance with policies and regulations
Coordinate interpreter services, transportation, and other visit-related supports
Answer and triage incoming calls with professionalism and compassion
Address patient concerns and escalate issues when appropriate
Maintain accurate medical records and protect confidential health information
Support clinic operations, including supplies and cross-site assistance as needed
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
2–3 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
Strong data entry and computer skills and customer service and communication skills
A compassionate, respectful approach to working with vulnerable populations
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation for occasional travel between sites
