Our Patient Care Coordinators are our primary points of contact for all GiveHear patients and visitors, whether by phone or in person. Providing excellent customer service and positively representing the organization is top priority.
GiveHear is a small nonprofit organization that assists a diverse patient population with hearing healthcare needs (namely hearing testing and hearing aids). Our patients are family. The desire to interact with patients is paramount.
Primary duties:
· Scheduling
· Chart preparation
· Chart scanning
· Medical records dissemination
· Data entry
· Patient check-in and check-out
· Insurance verification and prior authorizations
· Other duties as requested by PCC I, Audiologists, and/or Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates strongly preferred
· High school diploma or GED, basic computer skills
· Ability to produce I-9 documentation and pass a criminal background check
· Reliable transportation, punctuality, and dependability are musts
· Excellent people skills, outgoing, superior phone etiquette; able to provide outstanding customer care in a friendly, patient manner using a warm tone of voice
· Self-motivated, excels at prioritizing tasks, detail oriented
· Medical office (audiology/hearing aid/or other medical) experience a plus but not required
