East Side Baptist Church Haskell is accepting applications for a full-time pastor.
Spiritual Leader:
Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation.
Preach sermons and teach biblical principles during worship services.
Conduct Bible studies, prayer meetings, and other spiritual development activities.
Pastoral Care:
Provide pastoral care to individuals and families, including counseling, visitations, and support during times of crisis.
Conduct weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other sacraments or ceremonies.
Administration:
Oversee the overall administration and management of the church.
Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan and organize events, programs, and services.
Community Outreach:
Engage with the local community and develop outreach programs to address social issues and meet the needs of the community.
Foster relationships with other churches, community organizations, and leaders.
Worship Leadership:
Oversee and participate in the planning of worship services.
Foster an atmosphere of reverence, praise, and worship.
Teaching and Training:
Train and equip leaders and volunteers for various ministries within the church.
Provide educational opportunities for the congregation to deepen their understanding of the Bible and Christian doctrine.
Administration of Sacraments:
Administer sacraments such as communion and baptism in accordance with the church’s beliefs and practices.
Personal Development:
Engage in ongoing personal and professional development, including continued education, spiritual retreats, and collaboration with other pastors and leaders.
