Role Overview

We’re looking for a strategic, self-directed individual to help us expand awareness and support for our work—particularly in Australia. This remote contractor position is perfect for someone with experience in nonprofit outreach, fundraising, and grassroots organizing. The role involves engaging individuals and organizations in Australia.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

Help build and coordinate a new support committee focused on promoting our Cambodia-based victory garden work to audiences in Australia.

Organize virtual and in-person fundraising events and donor engagement activities.

Collaborate with our Cambodia team to gather compelling content and distribute it strategically across social media and to Australian supporters.

Plan and facilitate engagement activities, including field visit briefings (virtual and in-person), committee meetings, and donor calls.

Conduct outreach to Australian media outlets to highlight our programs in Cambodia and Malawi.

Work with the U.S.-based executive director to cultivate high-value donors and long-term supporters in the U.S.

Support broader fundraising and marketing strategies in collaboration with F2F staff and board officers in the U.S.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or community organizing.

Strong project management and coordination skills; detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and on your own schedule.

Solid writing, communication, and storytelling skills.

Comfort with social media and online engagement tools.

Understanding of (or interest in learning about) international development, food security, or grassroots movements.
