Role Description
The Partnership Coordinator is a contract, hybrid role based in Columbus, IN and covers the South Central and Southeastern Indiana, and North Central Kentucky areas. This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with businesses, non-profit and community organizations, churches, ministries, and donors to support their marketing efforts and the mission and programming of Good Shepherd Radio. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating partnership outreach, scheduling and attending meetings, preparing proposals and presentations, tracking partnership activities, and ensuring timely follow-up. The role also involves collaborating with internal staff to align partnership initiatives with programming, events, and fundraising efforts, and maintaining accurate records. The Partnership Coordinator will represent Good Shepherd Radio in ministry outreach, at community events, and assist in developing strategies to expand the ministry’s work and visibility in the communities it serves. A personal relationship with Jesus and agreement with the Good Shepherd Radio Statement of Faith is required. This position starts as commission-only. Advancement available for the right individual. This position is supported by the Partnership Director.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships and strategic partnerships with diverse organizations.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal interaction.
- Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and tracking multiple partnership initiatives.
- Background in sales or fundraising or customer service, with the ability to present value propositions and secure commitments.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort representing a Christian media organization and aligning work with the station’s mission and values.
- Proficiency with standard office software and CRM or database tools for tracking contacts and activities.
- Relevant education or experience in communications, ministry, business, non-profit, or a related field is preferred.
