The Maryland Food Bank (MFB) is a nonprofit, anti-hunger organization whose mission is to feed people, strengthen communities, and end hunger for more Marylanders. MFB does this work by expanding access to nutritious food while also seeking to eliminate the root causes of hunger.

MFB’s distributes food through a statewide network of community-based organizations from Maryland’s western mountains to its Eastern Shore. Last year, the Maryland Food Bank distributed enough food to provide the equivalent of more than 41 million meals, or about 114,000 meals every day. This healthy food supports children, seniors, veterans, and hard-working families.

About the position:
The Partner Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for processing partner orders, including branch pick-ups, agency deliveries, and product allocations. They will work with the Salisbury Operations Manager and Community Programs teams to support food distribution and other support activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Management of the Salisbury Front desk, lobby, and related volunteer services
Maintain departmental files according to MFB and Feeding America documentation guidelines.
Management of aging inventory using operating systems
Work with Operations and Programs Departments to achieve capacity building goals
Supports and participates in customer service and food safety training,
Partner with Program and Operational teams to create processes that improve efficiency and product quality for communities.
Provides support to partner agencies, including activities, system help, and troubleshooting
Assist with tracking program-related grants and maintaining partner account accuracy, including accounts receivable and monitoring aged account balances
Basic Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of experience in customer service and/or order system management roles.
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) with demonstrated strong math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree
1-2 years inventory management
Excellent interpersonal, networking, and problem-solving skills
Goal oriented
Working Conditions:
The employee will carry out job duties from inside a professional office and warehouse environment with little fluctuation in temperature, including lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: $21:00 – $24.00/ Per hour (Overtime eligible)
