Home Daycare Monitor / Child Nutrition, Inc.
Opening for a part-time Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Home Monitor. Child Nutrition, Inc. (CNI), is a non-profit sponsor of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
Monitor responsibilities include: conducting monitor visits of participating daycare homes in Loudoun and Fairfax counties , according to CNI policy and USDA CACFP policy; delivering technical assistance on nutrition, CNI policies and procedures; providing educational materials on child nutrition and daycare; and reviewing provider menus and attendance records in preparation for monthly claim submission.
Successful candidate will be highly organized, have strong computer skills, and will be able to interact well with others. Must have dependable transportation. The CNI office is located in Warrenton, Virginia and some office hours will be required. Knowledge of CACFP preferred. Associate Degree preferred; related work experience may be substituted for educational background. Bilingual (English/Spanish) would be helpful.
