Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Outreach & Engagement Specialist to join our team in Post Falls,  pivotal role requires a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about fostering partnerships, driving community engagement, and shaping effective outreach strategies. With a focus on communication, collaboration, and strategic planning, this individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining community awareness of services, thereby supporting our mission of changing lives.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing effective communication strategies for Equus Workforce Solutions and partners to increase awareness of workforce services.

Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations to share best practices and explore collaborative opportunities.

Present information about program services to community partners.

Create engaging social media content on current events and program highlights.

Research and write content for the website, infographics, blogs, and newsletters.

Ensure all content adheres to the company’s style guide, maintaining high quality and accuracy.

Prepare evaluative reports and manage communication and outreach campaigns.

Collaborate with partners in designing and marketing programs, services, and events for recruitment and awareness.

Maintain high standards of confidentiality regarding customer, employee, and contact information.

Assist with job fairs and employer hiring events; flexible to work outside regular hours as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree preferred.

Minimum of three years’ experience in outreach, preferably with government or community organizations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects.

Knowledge of communication, public relations, and marketing best practices, including social media.

Exceptional writing skills for creating engaging, accurate content.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strategic thinking to improve communication efforts.

Ability to analyze data related to program goals.

Proficiency in computer skills, including design and marketing software.

Valid driver’s license with a low-risk driving record and automobile liability insurance.
