Operations Support Coordinator (Non Profit) Jobs in Brownsville, Albemarle, VA at Trades and Tech Education Foundation
The Operations Support Coordinator is a flexible part-time position, normally not exceeding 10-20 hours per week, providing support for the Trades & Tech Education Foundation Board in managing the operations of the organization. The employee will report directly to the TTEF Board Chair. The hours could be variable depending on activity at different times during the year. A laptop computer and printer with the necessary software will be provided. Work will be performed in the employee’s home.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience using Google Suite of Applications
· Writing, editing, and formatting communications, including website and social media
· Excellent time management and organization
· Previous success in office management
· Comfortable handling confidential information
· Must have access to high-speed internet from home
Areas of Primary Responsibility
· Work with TTEF board member(s) to collect and disseminate necessary data for grants/fundraising efforts
· Maintain email and home mailing lists of Board members, partners and friends of Trades + Tech
· Organize and maintain records of the organization including Minutes, financial statements, policies, Bylaws, scholarship awards and other records
· Check TTEF emails received and forward to appropriate parties
· Work with secretary to write/revise thank you letters
· Prepare newsletters and letters to donors. Coordinate with printer and bulk mailing office at the USPS for timely and efficient delivery.
· Be able to update social media and website messages
· Attend meetings of the Board of Directors and meetings of the Executive Committee or other committees of the Board, as needed
· Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Chair
· Special Projects as requested
