Position Types
Habitat for Humanity offers various types of opportunities including:
Ameri Corps: In partnership with local Habitat organizations across the U.S., Habitat places Ameri Corps members in various roles to increase Habitat’s ability to build and repair homes, expand housing services, and engage the community.
Consultants: Habitat contracts with consultants on time-bound, project-related engagements such as housing research and IT projects.
Contingent-funded Opportunities: These roles support projects funded by professional foundations or institutional donors.
Disaster Response: Our program helps communities prepare for and recover from disasters that impact affordable housing.
Employment: Opportunities span all levels and departments of the organization, with positions located at our headquarters or remotely.
Internships: Introduce applicants to careers in the non-profit community while working on meaningful projects.
Volunteer Opportunities: Short- or long-term opportunities to leverage professional skills for a greater purpose.
