We are looking for an Operations Assistant to support our Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Facility (Ekolu) located in Kaneohe!
Ekolu is a program of Community Empowerment Resources (CER), a nonprofit 501(c)(3). CER’s mission is to provide progressive and inclusive health care, empowering individuals to lead fuller lives. We are a case management agency, staffed with caring employees, working to help the mentally ill population of Oahu integrate more fully into the community.
You will be supporting our mission by providing a warm and welcoming environment for clients at Ekolu, as well as providing operational support to help serve our clients and our facility. Administrative employees are vital members of our team, ensuring compliance and maintenance of our facility and services.
Our Ekolu team focuses on care coordination, quality assurance and continual improvement. The team is close knit that collaborates in innovative problem solving and professional development. You will have the opportunity to learn our health care system and work with a team of thoughtful professionals.
This position reports directly to the Team Leader of Ekolu, with additional oversight from the Chier Operating Officer. This in an onsite, in-person position, reporting Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Ekolu facility is a 24 x 7 x 365 operation, and there maybe overtime work paid at time and a half.
General duties include, but are not limited to:
Phones, scheduling, greeting, scanning, mail, fax
Parking and visitor access administration
Facility and office supply ordering and tracking
Electronic records management
Inventory
Donation room maintenance
Work orders
Vendor management
Cleaning and sanitizing of offices and facilities
Special projects as assigned by the Team Leader and Executive Leadership
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience in administrative/assistant work
Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 and navigating other online programs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working around individuals with severe mental illness, substance abuse, and the houseless

Benefits
$18 – $20 per hour, depending on background, education, and performance
This position has ample opportunity for overtime (time and a half pay)
