Broadcast Operations – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Studio Technician to work in our studios under supervision to operate television cameras and perform various studio functions.
This opportunity is an on-call position offering flexible hours on an as-needed basis without guaranteed weekly hours.
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
Working knowledge and capability of operating a camera
Knowledge of television production and workflow
Ability to carry video and lighting equipment, and consistently lift 40 lbs or more
Ability to climb ladders and work from a scissor lift at extended heights
Good hand-eye coordination, ability to stand for long periods of time
Good visual and creative skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team, working collaboratively with various show producers
Ability to work different shifts, extended hours, and meet unexpected work demands
Comfortable working with lighting and related studio equipment a plus
Previous experience as a Lighting Technician a plus
