Overview

Aspen Careers is partnering with a nonprofit healthcare organization serving active duty military families and veterans, during a period of rapid growth and transformation. This is a high-impact opportunity to step into a Director-level Office Administrator role supporting a leadership team driving major expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage regulatory filing deadlines and ensure compliance across multiple business lines
  • Coordinate across departments including health plan, programs, and fiscal sponsorship operations
  • Track, manage, and follow up on key initiatives and action items across leadership
  • Serve as a central operational hub ensuring priorities move forward efficiently
  • Support executive leadership with high-level administrative and operational needs
  • Maintain strong communication across internal stakeholders and ensure accountability
  • Potentially manage and mentor a junior administrator (including future expansion)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 8–10+ years of administrative or operation managerial experience (high-pressure environment preferred)
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through and deadline management
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset — someone who “owns” problems through completion
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with a direct, no-nonsense approach
  • Ability to operate at a fast pace with high standards of professionalism
  • Military background preferred (especially enlisted)
  • Government or regulatory experience is a plus
