What is ShopDonation?
ShopDonation is an online social enterprise, which links to popular webshops such as eBay, Booking.com and AliExpress, and donates a percentage of its commission to a social project of the buyer’s choice. This unique concept provides a new source of income for causes, charities, civic initiatives, and social projects worldwide.
After successful implementation in other countries, we are expanding to your country as well and are looking for a driven networker/relationship builder who is excited about building up their own automated online income and who shares our passion for making a positive impact in the world.
Where charities like Red Cross, Oxfam Novib and Make-A-Wish foundation already have registered on the ShopDonation platforms, next to many small nonprofits worldwide, we will soon provide them the opportunity to raise funds from multiple countries at once, because this concept will be present in every country where ecommerce is common.
This consequently means that each local platform strengthens and enhances the growth of other branches because our platform can be used by nonprofits and users that registered on other branches overseas. * For those not familiar with affiliate marketing, adding the brands to the website is not a difficult process, we simply need to apply to their already existing ‘partner programs’. There is no need to have meetings with any of these brands to set up the platform.

To qualify, you should have at least 20 hours per week to dedicate to running the business. For this position you should also be comfortable networking, building relationships, hosting webinars, giving presentations and preferably already have a strong network within the nonprofit sector in your country.
The other part of your team
The typical task division looks like this:
- an affiliate marketer (can be handled by AI now): Manages the website, uploads webshops, does customer service, does social media marketing and engages with online marketing to build up a reputable presence online. While before this was the person behind the scenes, today much of this work can already be automated through AI. Although not everything can be automated yet, AI is improving at a rapid pace, making it increasingly possible to run the platform alone and keep all of the profits yourself in the future.
- a nonprofit networker / relationship builder : Is someone with a strong network within the nonprofit sector, who already has an authoritative reputation and can effectively bring causes to the platform. This is the person who will be the face of the business and has a more extroverted personality. An ideal candidate can utilise their existing networks to create a respected presence in the nonprofit sector and is skilled in building new, long term relationships.
Income estimations
Within the first two years, when both follow our strategy precisely and dedicate your focus and hard work to running the platform, a full-time income with a part-time workload can be established, meaning around €4000 – €5000 a month collectively. Within the two years after that, it can slowly build up higher and higher, at which point the income will become more and more passive. These numbers are based on actual statistics from other platforms in other countries.

Realistic requirements for success (read carefully)
The above is something that will be achieved gradually over time, you will not establish this in a few weeks and we want to emphasise having realistic expectations. If you are not familiar with the time needed to build up a successful company please do some research on how long it usually takes to set up a business successfully. For this business, a significant part of the time is spent building relationships and developing automated systems and processes.
Even though we are on the brink of significant expansion, and the system we have built has been refined over the past decade, we are not promising short-term wealth. We are looking to discourage candidates who are only focused on quick results or have a short attention span of a few months.
In addition, while this is a part-time time investment in terms of hours, it does require full focus and commitment. It cannot be approached with 50% or even 99% effort; the time invested needs to be used with 100% dedication for it to be effective. For that reason, we are only looking for serious candidates with a long-term vision.
Have a direct source of income when starting
When building a business, initial income is often modest, which makes it necessary for candidates to maintain a separate source of income on the side, such as another part-time job or freelance work. At the start, if you do not have a direct source of income in addition to this opportunity, you do not qualify for this position.

You will receive guidance and support from the international ShopDonation team to make your platform successful, as your success is our success. Next to that we have an inhouse programmer and UX designer, so you never have to worry about any technical or design matters as the international team will always optimise the platform further where possible.
