Position Overview
This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Executive Director and working closely with the Board of Directors.
You’ll own all financial operations across the organization, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while serving as a strategic advisor on financial planning and long term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day financial operations including accounting, reporting, and compliance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting and insights to leadership
- Ensure accuracy across general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial systems
- Maintain compliance with audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external partners
- Oversee grant tracking, reporting, and ensure compliance with funding requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- Nonprofit experience preferred
- Experience with SCFD/federal/state grants preferred
