Position Overview: Little Birthday Angels is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Program Assistant. As an Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization’s daily operations and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $18 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support, including managing phone calls, emails, and mail correspondence.
Maintain and update organizational files, documents, and databases.
Scheduling and coordinating volunteers.
Prepare and make bank deposits, pick up mail/packages, using a company vehicle.
Assist with managing inventory and ordering office supplies.
Support the coordination of fundraising events and campaigns.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certification or coursework is a plus.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Proficient computer skills, including Google Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for the nonprofit sector and commitment to the organization’s mission.
Working Hours and Compensation:
This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 30 hours per week.
The administrative assistant will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00am to 2:30pm.
The hourly wage for this position is $18.
The administrative assistant will work from the organization’s office location in Vero Beach.
