Non-Profit Grant Accountant | Temporary Jobs in Washington, DC at The Ford Agency
The Ford Agency is actively looking for an accountant with non-profit grant experience to join the accounting team of this mission driven organization located in downtown, DC. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting payroll allocations to programs and grants. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with strong experience in Abila MIP who is looking to work immediately and enjoys working in a team oriented environment with a friendly atmosphere. This is a temporary position scheduled to last for at least 2 months.
Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize Access database to prepare payroll allocations to programs and grants
- Upload data to Abila MIP
- Cross check data to ensure accuracy
Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of non-profit grant accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Abila MIP system and Access
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and research skills
Compensation:
- $40/hr+ DOE
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area and be available to start immediately.
