Non-Profit Executive Director Jobs in Jaffrey, NH at Jaffrey Civic Center

About the Jaffrey Civic Center

The Jaffrey Civic Center (JCC) is a 60-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting arts, culture, and civic engagement in downtown Jaffrey, New Hampshire—the gateway to the Monadnock region.

The Center hosts regional art exhibits, curated exhibitions featuring professional and community artists, and programming that includes music, performing arts, art education, yoga, health classes, and other community programs. The facility includes three gallery spaces, a large classroom/studio, and a meeting room that can accommodate a wide variety of activities.

The JCC’s outdoor lawn regularly hosts public theater, farmers markets, arts and crafts fairs, a fall festival, and other community events. The Center also hosts the Jaffrey Historical Society, which displays part of its collection onsite.

A beloved local institution, the Jaffrey Civic Center sits at the heart of the community.

Significant Opportunity

The Jaffrey Civic Center is a vital part of the Monadnock Region’s thriving arts community, providing a space for exhibitions, education, and meaningful connections between artists and the public.

At the same time, the Center itself has recently undergone a series of important facility improvements. The building has been enhanced with updated entrances, a new roof, and interior renovations that improve safety, accessibility, and functionality. In addition, the galleries and public spaces have been freshly refurbished to reflect these upgrades and create a welcoming environment for artists, visitors, and community members.

With these improvements completed, the JCC is experiencing renewed energy and enthusiasm within the building and the broader community. The incoming Executive Director will have the opportunity to build on this momentum—continuing to grow participation, expand programming, and strengthen the Center’s role as a vibrant cultural hub in downtown Jaffrey.
