Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Non-Profit Director to lead our organization dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities and underserved communities. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic direction, program development, and daily operations of our social services programs. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership for all organizational programs, ensuring alignment with mission and community needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate social service programs tailored to individuals with disabilities and underserved populations.
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility across all initiatives.
- Supervise staff including program managers, social workers, and support personnel; foster a positive team environment through effective staff supervision and mentorship.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, clients, and funding agencies to enhance service delivery and organizational growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and funding requirements; oversee documentation and reporting processes.
- Lead efforts in grant writing, program development, and strategic planning to expand services and improve outcomes for clients.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and from underserved communities.
- Proven relationship management skills to foster partnerships within the community and with stakeholders.
- Strong administrative experience including budgeting, compliance oversight, and program management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting, communication, and documentation purposes.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in social services or behavioral health settings; capable of leading multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Expertise in social work practices, behavioral health interventions, and client communication strategies.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively.
- Leadership in social services administration with a focus on program development and team management.
