Position Overview:
Wagoner Area Neighbors is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Clothing Department Associate. This position plays an important role in helping us serve our neighbors with dignity and respect by maintaining our clothing donation and distribution area.
Schedule & Availability:
This is a part-time position ranging from 15 to 23 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for fundraising events or community activities. Applicants must reside in Wagoner or within a nearby surrounding area to ensure availability for the limited weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clothing department
Sort and rotate donated clothing items
Assist clients in the clothing area
Accept and process clothing donations from donors
Support pantry operations, including stocking, organizing, making food orders
Help unload trucks and restock inventory
Assist at fundraising events and community activities
Work alongside and help guide volunteers
Cross-train for front desk
Qualifications:
Strong and consistent work history
Must pass a background check
Must sign a non-disclosure agreement
Must live within a 20-mile radius of Wagoner, OK
Positive attitude and willingness to work with the public
