Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nanny role based in Accra. The Nanny will provide attentive childcare, including supervising children’s activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their emotional well-being throughout the day. Daily responsibilities include assisting with feeding, light cooking or meal preparation for children, maintaining a clean and organized child-friendly environment, and helping with routines such as playtime, homework, and bedtime. The role also involves engaging children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that support early childhood development. The Nanny will work closely with parents or guardians to follow household guidelines and routines, communicate daily updates, and adapt to the specific needs of the family.
Qualifications
- Strong Babysitting and Childcare skills, with experience providing safe, attentive care for children of varying ages.
- Demonstrated ability and comfort Working With Children, including patience, empathy, and positive behavior management.
- Basic Cooking skills for preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for children.
- Understanding of Early Childhood Development principles and ability to support learning through play and structured activities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent schedules and routines.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with parents or guardians and provide clear daily updates.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for children.
- Previous experience in a nanny, babysitting, or childcare role is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to undergo reference checks and any required background screenings.
