Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to lead and develop our monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&E, thrive in multicultural and dynamic environments, and bring a flexible skillset to support broader organizational needs. Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive M&E plans and frameworks.

Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Design and lead data quality assessments and verification exercises.

Maintain databases and data visualization tools for ongoing monitoring and learning.

Compile and present regular progress reports with actionable insights.

Integrate M&E findings into program planning and decision-making processes.

Provide training and technical support on M&E tools and best practices to staff and partners.

Support research and evaluation studies, including methodology design and reporting.

Stay current with emerging M&E methodologies, tools, and sector best practices.

Qualifications And Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, social sciences, public health, international development, or related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in M&E, research, or data analysis.

Strong skills in data analysis using statistical software.

Experience with data visualization and data management systems.

Proven ability to design and implement surveys, interviews, and focus groups.

Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Experience providing technical support and training on M&E systems.

Familiarity with GBV, human trafficking, health, or humanitarian sectors is highly desirable.

Understanding of NGO sector reporting standards and donor compliance.

Desirable Skills Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

Experience publishing and presenting analytical content to diverse audiences.

Ability to build M&E capacity among teams and partners.
