Position: Mobilization Specialist for Activism Initiatives
Drive civic engagement and grassroots activism in the Jewish community as a Mobilization Specialist with UJA Federation. This full-time role focuses on recruitment, advocacy campaigns, and community action.
In this role, you will craft and implement strategies for effective community mobilization and engage a network of volunteers. By fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, you will elevate civic participation and coordinate community-based events and initiatives. Experience in advocacy and public affairs will empower your work supporting various campaigns and leadership programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute advocacy and mobilization strategies within the community
• Support and engage volunteers throughout campaigns
• Coordinate grassroots organizing and rapid-response logistics
• Manage outreach efforts and community stakeholder relationships
• Support training and workshops for community actions
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in grassroots activism or volunteer engagement
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong relationship-building capabilities
• Knowledge in Jewish communal organizations is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
