Summary
The Arc of the Emerald Coast is seeking a motivated person to join our Santa Rosa Mobile Work Crew. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining clean and safe environments on our state roadways, supporting our mission to serve those with disabilities effectively.
Hiring for Team Leader:
6am-2pm, Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform highway litter pick up in accordance with FDOT standards.
- Properly dispose of waste at approved facilities.
- Support industrial and commercial cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain FDOT safety standards while working on state roadways.
- Lead team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure continuous equipment functionality.
- Uphold the organization’s commitment to a clean and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
Qualifications
- No significant traffic violations in last five years.
- Must be able to pass a background and pre-employment drug screening.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Experience operating a crew cab truck pulling a double-axle trailer a must.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
