Position Summary
The Greater Chester County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven professional to serve as our Member Experience & Operations Manager.
This role is central to the success of the Chamber’s membership operations and member engagement efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, managing details, supporting events, and ensuring members receive exceptional service and value from their Chamber investment.
This individual will oversee member onboarding, retention support, CRM administration, office operations, event coordination support, and administrative functions that help drive organizational effectiveness and member satisfaction.
The position works closely with the President & CEO and Vice President of Marketing & Events.
Key Responsibilities
Member Experience & Engagement
- Manage the new member onboarding process from application through engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for member questions and support
- Coordinate new member communications and welcome outreach
- Support member retention efforts and renewal follow-up
- Maintain accurate member records within Chamber CRM systems
- Assist with Ambassador and member engagement committee coordination
- Support member recruitment and relationship-building initiatives
Operations & Administration
- Manage incoming calls, emails, mail, and office reception responsibilities
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and office logistics
- Process accounts receivable/accounts payable documentation and reporting
- Assist with monthly membership reporting and board packet preparation
- Coordinate vendor relationships including office services and building needs
- Maintain organizational files, records, and operational procedures
- Support invoice processing and payment tracking
Event & Program Support
- Assist with Chamber events, networking programs, and member meetings
- Coordinate logistics for new member lunches and engagement programs
- Provide administrative and onsite support for major Chamber events
- Assist with sponsor and attendee communications
- Support event registration and CRM/event platform updates
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Chamber leadership and volunteers
- Support implementation of operational improvements and efficiencies
- Help strengthen member engagement and organizational growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, membership services, office administration, nonprofit management, hospitality, or relationship management
- Exceptional organizational and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Professional, welcoming, and service-oriented demeanor
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management, reporting, data tracking, and organizational analysis
- Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and database management
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Event coordination experience preferred

Compensation & Schedule
- Salary range: $50,000–$60,000 based on experience.
- Flexible scheduling with some evening event attendance required.
