Primary Purpose The Membership Engagement Manager serves as a liaison between the association and its members by fostering meaningful, professional relationships through in-person and virtual engagement programs. Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, this role leads the associations core member engagement programs, including TASBO Affiliates, the Mentoring Program, Committees, and support of TASBO Connect platform. The position works collaboratively with the Director of Member Services by providing insight and perspective on engagement activities that support broader recruitment and retention efforts.

Qualifications Education/Certification Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of best practices in member recruitment, retention, and engagement Knowledge of association management systems (iMIS and Higher Logic preferred) Effective communication (verbal and written), public relations, organizational, and interpersonal skills Effective skills to include the development of processes and procedures Effective skillsin organizing, managing, and prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines Skill in delivery of services to members and throughout the organization Skill in designing, implementing,evaluating, and refine programs and services Skill in promoting communication and collaboration among various areas of the organization to enhance program development, service delivery, and customer satisfaction Skill in analyzing and interpreting membership, engagement,and evaluation data Skill inidentifyingand resolving problems and providing consultation and recommendations Ability tofacilitatevirtual and in-personmeetingsfor small and large groups Experience Five years of experience in an association or school district setting preferred ;

experience in the area of membership management and engagement efforts or delivery of services preferred. Major Responsibilities and Duties Management Functions Member  Engagement Program Managetheassociationsmemberengagement programs to ensure efficient operations and the achievement of department goals,serve asthestaffcontact forthoseprogram inquiries, andassistmembers, non-members, and colleagues as needed. Collaborate with the membership engagement teamin recruiting,retaining, and engaging members,andassistwith new member engagement efforts. Collaborate withchiefengagementofficerin developing and executing the strategic direction of the associations affiliate program.

Serve as thestaffcontact for the affiliate program,maintain records of affiliate management, andmanage the internal integrity of affiliate information. Lead in affiliate leadership recruitment,facilitate affiliate officer training and meetings, andassistaffiliate leaders with affiliate management. Provideaffiliatessupportthrough Connect and manage affiliatee-communities and sub-communities. Provide affiliates supportwithcreating,implementing and promoting engagement and initiatives;developingprogramsand presentations; connectingpresentersand sponsors; and developing and managing scholarship programs. Serve as thestaffcontact forthementor program,maintain records for the program, and manage the internal integrity of mentor information.

Collaborate with mentorsandthe membership engagement teamin developing strategic initiatives for the program,promoting engagement,determining the program format, andimprovingthe program. Schedule, communicate, andfacilitatementor meetings andserve as a liaison between mentors and proteges. Maintain the associations e-community, Connect. Routinely audit, monitor, and promote member engagement and collaborate with various departments on increased engagement methods and improvements. Respond to memberandstaffinquiriesand requests related to Connect,provide support, and troubleshoot as needed.

Manageandassistwithvariousprogramsdedicated communities. Interface with committee leaders and members and provide information to promote initiatives. Develop, implement, andfacilitatethepublic speaking efforts of various engagement programs. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team, e-learning team, certification team, and professional development team to enhance member engagement initiatives to ensure alignment with association objectives. Establish andmaintainrelationships with current and prospective members,and promptly respond to inquiries and concerns. Assistinmonitoring andmaintainingthe integrity of theassociationsmembermanagementsystem.

Generate member engagement reports,analyzedata and trends, andsharewiththemembership team. Support thechiefengagementofficerwithvarious engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment withassociationobjectives. Collaborate with andassistthememberservicesteamwith projects as needed.
