Role Description
This is a Member of the Board of Directors role at Veteran Sidekicks. The property is located in Crystal River, FL, on the river with ocean access, and working from home is acceptable. The Board Member will be responsible for bringing their experience to the organizations operations, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies to finalize an exit strategy to complete this unique prototype of housing for veteran seniors so that they can live out their lives with dignity and respect.
Our objective is to create agro-tourism for senior veterans to live and operate. We have acquired 6.4 acres of real estate that is free and clear, with various options for funding to be discussed.
Qualifications

Leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
Financial and budget management experience
Experience in the non-profit sector or working with veterans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations
Masters degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or related field
