The Doctors Company has an opportunity for a Member Advocate to join our collaborative and dynamic team. Our Member Advocates are a vital part of the Underwriting Team and are often the face of the company. In this customer-centric role, you will be empowered to provide best-in-class member experiences during every interaction.
This is a hybrid or remote opportunity depending on the final candidates location from the company’s office. The schedule for this position is 8am – 5pm PST.

Qualifications
One to three (1-3) years of related customer service experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent phone and written communication skills
Proficiency and aptitude in use of computer information systems with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
Proficiency in use of phone systems
Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM
Main Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service, as the initial point of contact for the insured
Proactively anticipate caller’s needs, ask probing questions to ensure understanding of call content and to minimize any need for follow up
Proactively follow through on customer commitments
Use skills learned in training to increase professional performance in the areas addressed in the training
Ensure all processing activities are accurately completed
Adhere to assigned schedule and proactively communicate any modifications needed to management
Perform other assignments as requested and directed by management
Salary Range: $42,390 – $52,365
Compensation varies based on skills, knowledge, and education. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay.
