THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE
You’ll work a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 4 PM, with additional flexibility for coverage when needed.
As a Medical Coordinator at Mozaic, you will arrange and transport individuals to medical, dental, and other appointments. Your duties include collecting pertinent medical information, monitoring treatments and medication therapy, and completing all paperwork related to routine appointments with precision. Upholding confidentiality and mature judgment, you navigate the intricacies of maintaining a conducive environment that encourages optimal personal development, while prioritizing the health and safety of those we serve. Your role involves providing additional support for training in daily living activities, fostering integration within the community, and ensuring a socially and recreationally enriching environment.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
High school diploma or equivalent
Medication administration certified
Some experience working with people with developmental disabilities
Valid NYS driver’s license and a good driving record
Having medical assistant experience in the human services field is valued. Minimum qualifications may be waived exclusively by the Senior Vice President of Administration.
