hiring a Medical Assistant in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time

position that does require working weekends. Why Progressive Community

Education And Benefits Enrollment. Summary Works Under The Practice

Manager to support medical staff with patient exams and treatment by

performing clinical tasks. Keeps rooms ready, operates equipment, and

administers injections and specimen handling. Responsibilities Service –

Assisting and supporting staff, patients, and the community. Inform

scheduled patients of any delays due to physician’s lateness,

emergencies, schedule backup, etc. Anticipates need for assessment and

monitoring of patients prior to and during examination, treatment,

emergency, acute illness, or procedure. Provides a caring environment.

Able to deal empathetically with patients’ needs and questions. Must be

an excellent verbal communicator and project a professional image.

Compassion – Recognizing areas requiring relief with empathy and care

for others. Greets, assesses, and interviews patients. Obtains past

medical, surgical history, family history, social history, and complete

set of vital signs. Reviews current medications, allergy history, and

brief interrogation of chief complaint. Acts as liaison between Provider

and patient. Empowerment – Acting as a leader and fostering professional

growth among other staff. Prepares and assists patients for

examination/treatment by medical staff. Able to staff within the Primary

Care department. Maintains patient confidentiality. Quality – Pursuing

excellence in all endeavors. Obtaining vital signs Audiogram

Phlebotomy – butterfly, venous heel stick Specimen collection Giving

injections/immunizations Performing EKG CLIA waived point of care

testing Nebulizer treatments Administering medications KNOWLEDGE and

SKILLS Knowledge of injection levels and procedures, for both children

and adults. Knowledge of universal precautions and blood bourne
