Job Overview
Mountain View Health Services is a non-profit primary care and urgent care clinic looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team with great organizational skills, strong work ethic, and a drive to provide great patient care to every patient that comes to our clinic. Candidates should have 3-5 years of medical assisting experience. Experience in primary care and/or certification as a medical assistant preferred.
Clinic Hours:
Monday: 10:00 – 6:00 Tuesday: 8:30 -6:00 Wednesday: Closed Thursday: 8:30 – 6:00 Friday: 8:30 – 6:00 Saturday: 10:00 – 4:00 Sunday: Closed
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Perform lab draws and CLIA waived tests.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health systems.
Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
Coordinate patient flow within the clinic to optimize efficiency.
Cover the front desk at least once a week.
Provide exceptional patient service, addressing any concerns or questions with empathy
Skills
Strong patient service skills with an emphasis on empathy and communication.
Experience working within clinics, demonstrating adaptability to various environments.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining attention to detail.
