On behalf of our client, we are conducting a search for Ramps

RVA’s new part-time Marketing Manager. As part of the community for the past 20 years, Ramps

RVA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization with a mission to provide mobility for those dependent on a wheelchair by providing and installing modular wheelchair ramps through student and community volunteerism in the Richmond area. This 20 hour a week, hybrid role reports to the President. The annual organization budget is over $200,000. Come grow with us! Learn more at www.rampsrva.org.

Summary of Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Works with the President, Director of Operations and staff to ensure the mission is fulfilled through marketing, strategic planning and community outreach

Lead and deliver on the marketing and social media and other communication efforts

Work with diverse groups of students and adult volunteers

Introduce local corporate partners and their volunteers to the benefits of community service

Create engaging graphics and distribute through social media, website, blog posts, etc.

Manage and oversee fundraising efforts

Performs additional responsibilities related to the success of the organization

Key Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related area; relevant professional work experience and certifications/credentials may be considered in lieu of education

Minimum three years’ of marketing, social media and communications experience; ideally in non-profit or social services

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word Press a plus

Data entry to assist with financial reporting and analysis

Strong organization abilities including planning, program development and task facilitation

Demonstrated experience in creative problem solving

Ability to create engaging graphics to support programming

Excellent written and oral communication skills; public facing personality

Estimated average 20 hours per week

Hybrid work location with one day per week in the RAMPS office

Successfully complete pre-employment background screening

Competitive $25 – $30 per hour range depending upon work experience and credentials. Ineligible for benefits.
