Role Description
Position: Volunteer Marketing Intern (Unpaid)
Location: Edmonton (Remote with occasional local collaboration)
Time Commitment: Flexible (approximately 3–5 hours per week)
Toys4Two is looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing team. This is a volunteer-based, unpaid position designed for students or individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, branding, and nonprofit growth.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content for Instagram and TikTok
- Develop short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, trend-based content)
- Assist in growing Toys4Two’s social media presence and engagement
- Brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns leading up to Christmas
- Engage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive content
- Analyze basic engagement metrics and suggest improvements
- Support outreach efforts to increase visibility and community involvement
Qualifications
- Passion for community impact and helping children
- Basic understanding of Instagram and/or TikTok platforms
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with trends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Interest in marketing, business, communications, or social media
Compensation
This is a volunteer, unpaid internship position.
