LiveOnNY is seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented intern to support our Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in storytelling, digital media, and mission-driven work. You’ll gain hands-on experience social media, content development, and marketing operations — all while helping to share powerful stories that save lives. Reporting directly to the Senior Director Marketing and social media, the ideal candidate has a strong understanding of brand marketing, social media, and digital marketing strategies, as well as an interest in working on high-impact projects.
EMPLOYMENT MODEL: 3 days in office (hours flexible)
Responsibilities
Participate in the marketing cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling
Capture short-form video content using a smartphone for social media and internal use
Edit video content for multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Assist in developing compelling stories related to organ donation and transplant recipients
Support email list development and campaign management
Perform general administrative duties including scheduling, file organization, and research
Help brainstorm and create social and digital content to engage diverse audiences
Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure consistent messaging

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required:
At least 2 years completed in a Bachelor’s program. Background in communications, journalism, marketing, public health, or nonprofit work
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication and presentation skills
Sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and hardworking
Preferred:
Experience with Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, or similar tools
Proactive desire to go above and beyond role requirements
Basic knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends
Proven aptitude in seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted challenges
Salary Range: $20-$25 per hour
