About Us:

The Trauma Survivors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides trained therapists for crisis intervention, offers mental health support for trauma survivors, and delivers specialized training to those on the front lines—especially first responders and frontline workers.

We’re currently seeking one driven and creative intern to support our team across multiple key areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in nonprofit work, marketing, events, and mental health advocacy.

Internship Responsibilities:

1. Social Media & Content Creation

Create and schedule engaging posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Assist with short-form video content, reels, and stories

Help craft storytelling content to highlight impact and events

2. Website Updates

Assist in keeping the website updated with events, training opportunities, and news

Support content organization, blog updates, and page edits

3. Event Research & Coordination

Identify local events, conferences, and festivals where our mission aligns

Help coordinate our presence at those events (tabling, sponsorships, speaker spots)

Support logistics and planning for TSF-hosted events

4. Sponsorship & Fundraising Outreach

Research potential sponsors, donors, and grant opportunities

Assist in drafting outreach emails and tracking communication

Help brainstorm fundraising campaigns and strategies

5. Training Program Support

Help coordinate logistics and communications for crisis intervention training sessions

Support outreach to potential participants and partner organizations

Ideal Candidate:

Passionate about mental health, nonprofit work, and community impact

Strong communication and writing skills

Experience or interest in social media, event planning, and digital tools

Organized, self-motivated, and creative

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Internship Details:

Location: Remote with optional in-person events (Delaware/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area preferred but not required)

Time Commitment: 8–12 hours/week (flexible schedule)

Compensation: Unpaid, school credit available

Start Date: Rolling applications accepted
