To support this continued growth, they’re hiring a Marketing & Events Manager to develop, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and events that further the organization’s mission and impact. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of purpose and performance — driving measurable results while advancing equity in the industry.

The Opportunity

This fully remote role is perfect for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment. You’ll own a range of marketing and event functions — from campaign development and email management to social engagement and community outreach. You’ll also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote events, fundraising initiatives, and brand partnerships.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, skilled in writing and project management, and passionate about digital marketing with a purpose-driven twist. This role requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for equity, inclusion, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Craft and schedule community updates about programming, events, and partnerships across various platforms

Lead major fundraising campaigns (e.g. Giving Tuesday, International Women’s Day, Global Scholarship Fund)

Create compelling, brand-aligned content across social channels

Ensure sponsor brands are accurately and effectively represented in all promotions

Report on social growth and campaign performance monthly and quarterly

Optimize online presence and traffic via social media and SEO initiatives

Assist in managing community Slack channels

Manage monthly newsletters and email campaigns

Handle data hygiene and database tasks, primarily in HubSpot

Support event promotion, registration, and volunteer coordination

Assist with Zoom webinar and meeting setup

Collaborate with external marketing partners on paid campaigns

The Ideal Candidate

You’re an adaptable marketing professional with a knack for organization and a heart for social impact. You bring energy and ownership to your work, know how to communicate with purpose, and are excited to grow in a mission-driven organization. Prior experience with nonprofit marketing is a plus, but not required.

You’re not just fluent in best practices across digital and content marketing — you’re driven by results and eager to make a difference. Whether you’re managing a campaign, writing copy, or launching an event, you bring care, creativity, and clarity to everything you touch.
