Job Description:

The Marketing & Communications Manager will develop and implement strategic communication initiatives to enhance the organization’s branding, engage stakeholders, and promote events and achievements. This part-time consulting role, reporting to the Managing Director, is crucial to strengthening the client’s public presence for the 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a cohesive marketing and messaging strategy.

Design high-quality content for newsletters, social media, and fundraising campaigns.

Manage and update the organization’s website.

Oversee social media engagement and create compelling visuals and campaigns.

Draft press releases, serve as the media contact, and manage media visit logistics.

Standardize branding across all materials and merchandise.

Support fundraising efforts through promotional materials and campaigns.

Monitor communication metrics to improve outreach strategies.

Capture and manage photography and videography for marketing use.

Collaborate with internal teams to align communications with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.

Experience: At least two years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally in education or nonprofit settings.

Skills:

Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.), digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.

Experience managing social media platforms and content management systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Spanish language skills are a plus.
