Established by Temasek Holdings in 2007, Temasek Trust is a steward of philanthropic endowments and gifts from Temasek and other donors. It strives to deliver sustainable funding for the long-term well-being and security of our communities. Temasek Trust provides governance and financial oversight of endowments for Temasek Foundation, Stewardship Asia Centre, Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory and Mandai Nature.
We are looking for a Place making & Community Manager for Temasek Shophouseto curate and drive a vibrant calendar of events and programmes and grow the community of impact-driven individuals and organisations through meaningful partnerships,
impactful
programming and place making. The role will also encompass planning and executing the relaunch of TSH and ensuring that all subsequent programmes and initiatives align with TSH’s mission of building a community for social and environmental good.

Designation:
Manager, Temasek Shophouse (Place making & Community)
Reporting to:
Associate Director, Temasek Shophouse Responsibilities:
Developing and delivering a robust calendar of public engagement events with social and environmental impact angles
Planning and executing the launch programmes of Temasek Shophouse Building up a community of impact makers through the TSH Collective Membership, and planning a series of programmes to support and catalyse their growth
Working with precinct partners and stakeholders on place making efforts
Activating and managing the use of both indoor and outdoor spaces at TSHWorking with TSH’s retail partner to curate retail merchandise and gifts, as well as
community engagement
programmes
Coordinate and oversee volunteer management, including recruitment, training and engagement
Contributing to workplace community building and staff engagement
Ensuring set budgets are adhered to, well managed and reported
Supporting the team at Temasek Shophouse and wider TT ecosystem with projects and events as required
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
Preferably less than 5 years of working experience, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
Prior experience in programme / event management,
community engagement
, place making, and partnerships is preferred
