THE OPPORTUNITY
St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation Hamilton seeks an experienced fundraiser with a successful track record in major gift fundraising and a passion for healthcare philanthropy to join our team.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Development, the Manager, Major Gifts will oversee the Clinician & Staff Engagement Program, Prospect Management and Research, lead a team of two professionals, and secure major gifts through cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a personal portfolio of prospects.
This is an exciting time to join as we launch a $20 million campaign to advance the robotic revolution eph’s Healthcare Hamilton. The Foundation aims to expand its major gift program via strategic donor engagement and relationship management.
The role involves developing relationships, mentoring, and leading fundraising efforts, with a proven ability to secure gifts of $100,000 and above, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will share a passion for healthcare philanthropy and collaborate organization-wide to increase revenue.
The target salary range is $80,000 – $105,000, complemented by a leading pension plan (HOOPP) and comprehensive benefits. The position offers a hybrid work model, with three days in the office and two from home.
