Position: Manager, Community Engagement for MS
Join MS Canada as a Community Engagement Manager, dedicated to empowering those affected by multiple sclerosis. Engage communities through outreach and partnership strategies in this full-time role.
In this position, you will enhance community connection and impact by implementing outreach plans and driving initiatives in Alberta. You’ll manage relationships with donors, volunteers, and healthcare partners while ensuring a collaborative approach to support the MS community. Your ability to engage diverse audiences will be essential in acknowledging their needs and fostering relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute community outreach plans
• Build relationships with MS healthcare and research centers
• Engage volunteers and community champions effectively
• Serve as a spokesperson for MS awareness and advocacy
• Support fundraising and collective action initiatives
Requirements:
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Background in community development or related fields
• Skills in planning and executing community events
• Flexibility to travel across Western Canada
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
